  2. Use this fan only as described in this manual. Any other use is not recommended by the manufacturer and may cause fire, electrical shock, or injury to the person.
  3. Remove the package and ensure that the fan is undamaged. In case of doubt do not use the fan and contact supplier.
  4. Do not let children play with parts included in this package.
  5. Before using the fan, check if the voltage marked on the rating label corresponds to the mains in your home.
  6. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with appliance.
  7. Avoid using extension cord as the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire.
  8. Do not pull the power cord to disconnect the power source. Always grasp the plug to pull out.
  9. Do not insert any objects into the fan as it may cause an electric shock, injure or damage the fan. Do not block or tamper with the fan in any manner while it is in operation.
  10. Do not leave the fan unattended. Always unplug the fan when not in use.
  11. This fan is not intended for use in wet or damp locations. Never position a fan where it may fall into a bathtub or other water.
  12. Do not use the fan outdoors.
  13. Disconnect the fan from the power source when not in use, and before servicing or performing any maintenance.WARNING : The Main Power Switch and the On/Off switch should not be used as the sole means of disconnecting power. Always unplug the power cord before servicing or moving the unit.WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.
  14. Always disconnect the fan from the power supply when moving it from one location to another.
  15. Keep the fan clean and maintained in good condition.
  16. Use recommended parts only (non genuine parts may be dangerous, and will invalidate your warranty). Contact our After Sales Support centre ([email protected]).
  17. When not in use store in a safe, dry, childproof location.
  18. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by our After SalesSupport centre ([email protected]) in order to avoid a hazard.
  19. This appliance can be used by Children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user  maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

WARNING : To avoid danger of electric shock, unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by our After Sales Supper centre () in order to avoid a hazard.

The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and parts for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. Defects that occur within this warranty period, under normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion, solely at our option with no charge for parts and labour. The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies in respect of the product that the consumer has under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and similar state and territory laws.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Assembly

The base of the tower fan comes in two parts, which fit around the tower. Both parts fit easily together. The back half is the one with cut-outs for the power supply cord.

  1. First attach the front half of the base, aligning the holes in the base with the screw holes at the base of the tower fan, and leading the power cord through the centre hole.
  2. Then snap the back half of the base to the front half and secure with the four screws supplied (Fig. 1).
  3. Thread the power supply cord through the two cut-outs at the bottom of the base.

REMOTE CONTROLThe remote control comes with a button cell battery. Ensure battery is correctly loaded in the remote before getting started. If the battery needs replacing, a new CR2025 or equivalent battery needs to be inserted. Follow the instructions below to replace:

  1. Push the lock tab to one side and pull out the battery compartment at the back side of the remote.
  2. Remove the old battery from the remote and insert a new one of the same type, observing the battery polarity (Fig. 2).
  3. Push the battery compartment back into the remote.

WARNING: Keep batteries out of reach of children. Swallowing may lead to serious injury or death in as little as 2 hours due to internal burns. If swallowed, go straight to a hospital emergency room.DANGER if swallowed Dispose of used batteries immediately. If you suspect your child has swallowed or inserted a button battery immediately call the 24-hour Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 and you will be directed to the nearest hospital or emergency service that can manage the injury.7

Getting Started

The fan may be operated by the manual controls located on the top of the fan (Fig. 4) or by using the remote control (shown in Fig. 3).

  1. Place the fan on a stable flat surface. Plug the cord set into a 220V-240V~A.C. electrical outlet.
  2. POWER: Turn the fan on by pressing the `POWER’ button; Turn the fan off by pressing the `POWER’ button again.
  3. SPEED: You can adjust the fan speed to the desired level; low, medium, or high by pressing `SPEED’. The speed setting is displayed on the LED screen (Fig. 5).
  4. MODE: Pressing the `MODE’ button will set the fan into NORMAL, NATURAL, and SLEEP mode.
  5. TIMER: When the fan is in use, you can set the Timer to switch the fan to standby after the specified time. Press the `TIMER’ button repeatedly to increase the Timer setting from 1 hour to 12 hours as indicated on the LED Display. After 5 seconds, the Timer will start. Once the Timer runs out, the fan will switch off, and the detected Room Temperature will be shown on the LED Display. When the Timer is set, the LED display shows the time after which the fan will switch off.
  6. OSC: Pressing the `OSC’ button will start and stop the oscillation function. The symbol is displayed on the LED screen.
  7. TEMP: Once the unit is plugged into the power socket and switched on, the FAN will show the room temperature, and the `TEMP’ will change to `TIMER’ when the timer is set.
  8. Power save mode: when the `SLEEP’ mode or the `TIMER’ is on, the main display will turn off after 30 seconds. Press any key to turn on the display again.

Maintenance

  1. Contact our After Sales Support centre ([email protected]) to undertake electrical repairs.
  2. If the unit requires external cleaning make sure it is switched off and unplugged from the power supply. Use a soft tissue or cloth for general cleaning. To remove more persistent dirt or grime wipe down with a cloth that has been dampened with warm soapy water. Do not use any solvents (such as thinners ) as these may damage the plastic casing.

CAUTION:Always be sure that the appliance is switched OFF before cleaning the appliance or attempting to store the item. ALWAYS plug and unplug unit with dry hands.

Please Note: Take care not to stain the plastic parts with oil. Avoid using in places where oil is likely to spill on the fan. Damage deterioration is always caused by oil sticking.

STORINGStore the appliance in a dry location. Do not place any heavy items on top of appliance during storage as this may result in possible damage to the appliance.

  PackagingYour device has been packaged to protect it against transportation damage. In the event it is to be disposed of, please recycle all packaging material where possible and disposal of it safely.

DeviceAt the end of its working life, do not throw this product out with your household rubbish. Electrical and electronic products contain substances that can have a detrimental effect on the environment and human health if disposed of inappropriately. Observe any local regulations regarding the disposal of electrical consumer goods and dispose of it appropriately for the recycling. Contact your local authorities for advice on recycling facilities in your area.

BatteriesDo not dispose of used batteries in household rubbish. Batteries should be taken to a collection point for used batteries.
