INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Keep the appliance away from heat sources, direct sunlight, humidity (never immerse it in liquids) and sharp edges.
- Do not attempt to repair the device by yourself. Contact a qualified technician.
- In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
- Do not let children play with the appliance. &
WARNING: Do not allow children to play with the foil. Danger of suffocation!
- Avoid applying excessive pressure or vibration to the surface of the device.
- Do not place anything on the case or keyboard.
- Switch off the device if you do not intend to use the device for a long time.

INSTALLATION OF THE TABLET IN THE CASE
Slightly pull the rubber bands and place your tablet inside the case. Attach the straps to the four corners of the device in such a way that they embrace the tablet and are stable.
CAUTION: Always carry the tablet case with great care. There is always the risk of accidentally unlocking the hooks from the tablet and the tablet leaving its correct position! Risk of falling of the device!
CONNECTION WITH THE TABLET
The NOD BT Type & Protect 10 ” case is connected to the tablet via Bluetooth connection.
CONNECTION THROUGH BLUETOOTH
Follow the steps below to connect your tablet with the keyboard.
- Slide the ON/OFF switch to the “ON” position in order to activate the keyboard. The blue power light will start flashing for 4 seconds and then stop to save power. The keyboard is activated.
- Press the Bluetooth power key on the keyboard. The Bluetooth indicator light will start flashing.
CONNECT TO AN ANDROID DEVICE:
Go to the Bluetooth menu through your device settings. Activate the Bluetooth function, then search for the device named “NOD BT Keyboard 10” through the list of available devices. Select “NOD BT Keyboard 10” to start pairing and connecting between the tablet and the keyboard. Enter the pairing code displayed on the screen and press Enter.
CONNECT TO AN IOS DEVICE
Go to the Settings menu, then go to the General menu, and then go to the Bluetooth menu. Activate the Bluetooth function, and then search for the device named “NOD BT Keyboard 10” through the list of available devices. Select “NOD BT Keyboard 10” to start pairing and connecting between the tablet and the keyboard. A password will then appear on the screen of the iOS device. Enter the pairing code displayed using the keyboard and press Enter to complete the connection.
CONNECTING TO A WINDOWS DEVICE:
Go to the Bluetooth menu through your device settings. Turn on Bluetooth, then select “Add new device”. Browse to the device named “NOD BT Keyboard 10” from the list of available devices and select “NOD BT Keyboard 10” to start pairing and connecting between the device and the keyboard. Enter the pairing code displayed on the screen and press Enter.
HOW TO CHANGE KEYBOARD LANGUAGE
It is possible to change the keyboard language by using the following combinations:
- Press Shift + Space
- Press Ctrl + Space
- Press Left Alt + Shift
In case the keyboard language does not change with the above key combinations, follow the steps below and consult the instructions given by the tablet manufacturer in the following settings section:
- Go to Settings on your device.
- Select the Languages & Import menu.
- Select the Keyboard Management menu.
- Select the Settings menu.
- Select the Languages menu. Add Greek, English and any other language you wish.
- After doing the above steps, press Shift + Space or Ctrl + Space or Left Alt + Shift.
HOW TO CHARGE THE KEYBOARD
The keyboard has a battery indicator light.
- Green light – Battery fully charged
- Red light – The battery needs charging
To charge the battery of the keyboard, connect the micro USB cable to the corresponding keyboard port and USB to a charger or computer. Charge for 1 to 3 hours or until the light switches off.
CAUTION:
- If you do not intend to use the device for a long time, it is recommended to turn it off.
- When the indicator light flashes red, charge the battery for at least 2 hours.
- For best results, use the micro USB cable included in the package from the manufacturer.
ENERGY SAVING FUNCTION
The keyboard will enter power save mode after 10 minutes of inactivity. Press any key and wait 1-2 seconds for it to exit power saving mode.
CLEANING
- CAUTION: Do not immerse the keyboard case in water: the electronic components of the device may be damaged.
- Do not use wire brushes or other abrasive objects.
- Do not use acidic or abrasive detergents.
- Clean the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Make sure no moisture or water enters the appliance!
- Wipe the appliance thoroughly after cleaning it with a dry, soft cloth.
