Commissioning
Before the first use charge the TERRATEC Connect BT for at least 30 minutes! To do so. connect the charging station of the TERRATEC Connect BT to a USB port by means of the USS cable included in the delivery: the red LED signalizes the charging process.Complete charging might require up to s hours. When a TERRA TEC Connect BT is connected to the charging unit. it is possible to use the device after 30 minutes: the charging of the accumulator will be continued. As soon as the red LED fades out, the accumulator is completely charged.
Connection
Plug the plug of the audio cable which is included in the delivery into the audiooutput of the TERRATEC Connect BT and connect the other end of the cable to your active loudspeaker or hi-fi system.
Switching on
Press the ON/OFF switch for about 10 seconds until the blue LED starts flashing rapidly {about 4x per second) The device is in the recognition mode (Bluetooth Pairing) and is ready to be connected to your replay device. Then activate the Bluetooth function of your replay device (Smartphone. Tablet. Mac or PC). the system automatically searches for new Bluetooth devices.The TERRATEC Connect BT will list all available devices and can be selected as preferred audio device. The blue LED is continuously illuminated as soon as the connection was established. It is only necessary to perfom, the Bluetooth Pairing once; in the future just switch on the device (press the button for 4 seconds) in order to establish a connection. In order to connect the TERRATEC Connect BT viaNFC; simply switch on the NFC function of your Smartphone and hold it one to two centimeters above the activated TERRATEC Connect BT: the devices are connected easily and fully automatically.
Switching off
The TERRATEC Connect BT is automatically switched off as soon as the Bluetooth connection is interrupted It can be manually switched off by pressing the button for about 4 seconds.
