Safety instructions

Intended useThis device is used for the sequenced supply of mains voltage via multiple socket outlets. Any other use or use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damages resulting from improper use.

Danger for childrenEnsure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly and are not within reach of babies and young children. Choking hazard! Ensure that children do not detach any small parts (e.g. knobs or the like) from the unit. They could swallow the pieces and choke! Never let unattended children use electrical devices.

  • in conditions of extreme temperature or humidity
  • in extremely dusty or dirty areas
  • at locations where the unit can become wet

  • To prevent damage, never use force when operating the switches and controls.
  • Never immerse the appliance in water. Just wipe it with a clean dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners or flammable cleaning agents.

Keep foreign substances from the unit!Keep the device away from containers with liquids. Should any liquid get into the unit, this could lead to its destruction or fire. Be sure not to let any metal objects into the unit.

Using the device

  1. Install the device in a 19 “rack, if desired.
  2. Use the power cord to connect the device to a properly connected power outlet that provides the voltage specified here.
  3. Press the POWER switch to turn on the unit. The display then shows the date, time and the supply voltage. In the channel display at the bottom of the display, the sockets connected to devices are displayed in green, free sockets in red.
  4. Turn the MENU knob until the display shows SYSTEM SET. Here you can save and load up to 8 configurations, select the language for the display. Each time you change a value, press the MENU knob to save the change.
  5. Turn the MENU knob until the display shows PROTECT SET. Press the MENU knob. Now you can select [On], [Off] or [Auto].
  6. Turn the MENU knob until the display shows TIME SET. Press the MENU knob. Now you can set the date and time, turn auto-start on or off, and configure the timer function:[Off], [Cycle] (turn on every day at the set time) or select [Acyclic] (turn on at a specific time).
  7. Turn the MENU knob until the display shows DELAY SET CH 1. Press the MENU knob. Now you can set the on and off delay for output 1. Proceed accordingly for the other outputs.
  8. Press and hold the MENU knob for a few seconds until a lock icon appears in the display. The function for changing values is now protected against unintentional use. Press and hold the MENU knob again for a few seconds until the lock icon disappears. The function for changing values is now available again.
  9. Press the POWER switch to turn off the power.

 For the transport and protective packaging, environmentally friendly materials have been chosen that can be supplied to normal recycling. Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of. Do not just dispose of these materials with your normal household waste, but make sure that they are collected for recycling. Please follow the notes and markings on the packaging.

Dispose of this product through an approved waste disposal firm or through your local waste facility. Comply with the rules and regulations that apply in your country.
