Safety instructions

Intended useThis device is intended for lighting temporarily racks by means of LED technology. Any other use or use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damages resulting from improper use. Extend the operating life of the device by regular breaks and by avoiding frequent switching on and off. The device is not suitable for continuous operation.

Danger for childrenEnsure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly and are not within reach of babies and young children. Choking hazard! Ensure that children do not detach any small parts from the product. They could swallow the pieces and choke! Never let children unattended use electrical devices.

Electric shock caused by high voltages insideWithin the device there are areas where high voltages may be present. Never remove any covers. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Do not use the device when covers, safety equipment or optical components are missing or damaged.

Electric shock caused by short-circuit

Always use proper ready-made insulated two-wire mains cabling (power cord). Do not modify the mains cable or the plug. Failure to do so could result in electric shock/death or fire. If in doubt, seek advice from a registered electrician.

Power supply

Before connecting the device, ensure that the input voltage (AC outlet) matches the voltage rating of the device and that the AC outlet is protected by a residual current circuit breaker. Failure to do so could result in damage to the device and possibly the user. Unplug the device before electrical storms occur and when it is unused for long periods of time to reduce the risk of electric shock or fire.

General handling

  • To prevent damage, never use force when handling the product.
  • Never immerse the product in water. Just wipe it with a clean dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners or flammable cleaning agents.
  • For technological reasons, the light output of LEDs decreases over their lifetime. This effect increases with higher operating temperature. You can extend the service life of the illuminants by providing adequate ventilation and operating the LEDs with the lowest possible brightness.

Controls and connections

  1. Dimmer/Switch: Button to turn the unit on and off and set the brightness of the LEDs

Operating

  1. Turn the unit on and offKeep the button [Dimmer/Switch] pressed until the unit switches on or off.
  2. Brightness settingRepeatedly press the button [Dimmer/Switch] to select one of the three brightness levels of the LEDs.
  3. Macros settingRepeatedly press the button [Colors] to select one of the 15 hues of the LEDs.
  4. Memory functionAll settings of brightness and macros are retained, even if the unit is disconnected from the mains.
