OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Locate battery compartment latch (A) on top of a bullhorn. Open and insert 8 “C” batteries (not included) into the battery sleeve (B). Follow the battery diagram on sleeves (C) for battery direction. Close battery compartment.If using an H-6421 Rechargeable Battery Pack, first charge the battery by plugging it into an AC outlet (110V-240V). The battery will reach full charge in approximately 4 hours. The LED light will turn green once fully charged. Then, remove the battery sleeve (B) and remove the color tape from the bottom of the battery pack. Insert the battery pack into the battery compartment of the bullhorn with the LED light facing up.BATTERY STATUSThe bullhorn has 3 LEDs ­ low, mid, high ­ (D) that will tell you the current strength of the battery.NOTE: Drained batteries do not provide sufficient volume. Replace the batteries if “LOW LED” lights when the trigger is squeezed. Remove batteries when not in use for an extended time period.TALKMake sure that the switch (E) is in the off/talk position. Place mouth about one inch from the microphone (F), squeeze the trigger (G), and speak. To increase volume, rotate volume control (H) left to right.When you have a fresh set of batteries, you may get feedback when talking. To eliminate feedback, you need to turn down the gain. Locate the gain control (J) in the battery compartment. Turn until you do not hear any feedback.NOTE: For less gain, turn counterclockwise. For more gain, turn clockwise.SIRENTo activate the siren, move switch (E) to the right. Siren will activate. Note, there is no control for siren volume.

WHISTLETo activate the whistle, move switch (E) to the left. The whistle will activate. Note, there is no control for whistle volume.

PROPERTY LABELThe label is located on the bottom of the bell. Use a marking pen to write the ownership name on a bullhorn.
