SETUP

1. Attach handle and extender together to mounting post on applicator. (See Figure 1)
2. Turn the large knob to adjust the spacing between guide panels for either 2″, 3″, or 4″ wide tape. (See Figure 2)
3. Before loading the roll into the applicator, make sure the tape unrolls off the bottom with the adhesive side facing up, not over the top of the roll. (See Figure 3)
4. Insert tape roll between panels, making sure round supports fit securely into the tape core. (See Figure 4)NOTE: Panels may need to flex outward when loading 4″ wide tape.
5. Pull approximately three feet of tape forward. Peel backer off the tape and pull it back over the top of roll toward spool. (See Figure 5)
6. Feedbacker under one of the tabs on the spool and manually rotate the spool clockwise, ensuring the spool grabs the backer so it will not slip out. Make sure the backer is tight against the top surface of the tape roll. (See Figures 6-7)NOTE: If a backer is slipping out, tape it to the spool prior to rotating

OPERATION

1. Apply tape to the floor in front of the applicator. (See Figure 8)
2. Pick up the applicator and move it forward until the tape is resting taut against the roller wheel. (See Figure 9)NOTE: Do not roll the applicator forward to make tape taut against the roller wheel.
3. Press down on the handle while pushing the applicator forward to apply the tape smoothly to the floor.
4. Apply tape to the desired length needed. If less than a full roll is needed, cut the tape and start again at step 1.
