OPTIONAL MARKER TRAY INSTALLATION
NOTE: Attach marker tray to board frame before mounting board on wall.
- Center marker tray along the bottom board frame (horizontal or vertical orientation). (See Figure 1)
- Insert marker tray at an angle into back channel of board frame. Rotate tray up until it is fully engaged. (See Figure 2)
- Align tray end caps and fasten with No. 6-32 x 3/8″ screws. (See Figure 3)
MOUNTING
- Determine board location. Position top hanging brackets. Mark center hole of each hanging bracket 6″ from outside edge of board and 7/8″ down from top of board (A). (See Figure 4)
- Drill holes for each hanging bracket in marked locations on the wall using a 1/4″ drill bit. Remove screw from wall anchor. Insert wall anchors into holes flush with wall. Insert screws with washers through hanging brackets into wall anchors (B). Tighten firmly. (See Figure 4)
- Holding the board at approximately a 15° angle, place the channel in the back of the frame over the hanging brackets. Lower the board so it is flush to the wall (C). (See Figure 4)
- To position bottom “L” brackets, mark wall 1 5/8″ up from bottom of board, 6″ from each outside edge (D). (See Figure 5)
- Drill holes in marked locations using a 1/4″ drill bit. Remove screw from wall anchor. Insert wall anchors into holes flush with wall. Insert screws with washers through “L” brackets into wall anchors (E). (See Figure 5)
- Hang board and mark frame through hole in each “L” bracket. Remove board and drill pilot hole at each mark with 1/8″ drill bit. Re-hang board and insert #8 x 1/2″ truss-head screw through each “L” bracket and into pilot hole in frame (F). Tighten firmly. (See Figure 5)
MAINTENANCE
- Clean board prior to first use with mild soap and water (do not use abrasive cleaners). Rinse and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
- Use only dry erase markers. Other markers may permanently damage the writing surface. For best erasing results, replace markers at least once a year.
- Use a clean eraser to remove dry-erase ink from the board surface. Occasionally, use dry erase board cleaner to remove grease, dirt and dry erase ink residue that may build up on the board surface.
- Avoid leaving marks on the board surface for prolonged periods. Dry erase ink may become difficult to erase over time.
- Do not use adhesive tape on board surface.
