ULINE Sofpull Automatic Paper Towel Dispenser

TOOLS NEEDED

NOTE: Mounting hardware is not included with this item. When mounting dispenser, ensure that proper mounting hardware is used for appropriate wall composition.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

ATTENTION: Read all instructions before using the towel dispensing system.TO REDUCE THE RISK OF BURNS, FIRE, ELECTRICAL SHOCK OR INJURY TO PERSONS:

  1. Close supervision is necessary when this furnishing is used by children or disabled persons.
  2. Use this furnishing only for its intended use as described in these instructions. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
  3. Never operate this furnishing if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return the furnishing to a service center for examination and repair.
  4. Never operate the furnishing with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair and the like.
  5. Never drop or insert any foreign object into any opening.
  6. Do not use outdoors.
  7. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
  8. Do not mix old and new batteries.
  9. Do not mix non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Recommended mounting height is 44″ from the floor to bottom of dispenser.

  1. Press button on top of dispenser to open cover. (See Figure 1)NOTE: If using screws to mount dispenser, recommended hardware is four screws and four wall anchors.
  2. Open dispenser cover completely and hold dispenser to ideal mounting place on wall. (See Figure 2)
  3. Mark the four holes on the wall where screws will be inserted. (See Figure 2)
  4. Set dispenser aside and drill into wall at four marked locations with an appropriate drill bit. (See Figure 3) Insert wall anchors if necessary.
  5. Hold dispenser to wall so that the holes in the wall and the dispenser match up. Insert four screws into previously drilled holes.

LOADING INSTRUCTIONS

LOADING THE BATTERIES
  1. To load the batteries, locate the compartment inside and towards the bottom of the dispenser. (See Figure 4)
  2. Remove the compartment cover by sliding the cover left to unlock.
  3. Place four batteries into compartment according to the battery diagrams on the inside of the compartment. (See Figure 5)
  4. Replace battery compartment cover and slide to the right to lock.NOTE: Three red lights will appear on the dispenser sensor when batteries are properly loaded.
LOADING THE PAPER TOWELS
  1. With dispenser cover open, place the roll of paper towels on the roll holder supports located inside the dispenser. The paper must feed from underneath the roll. (See Figure 6)
  2. Push the end of the paper in between the two feed rollers. (See Figure 7)
  3. Press the blue manual feed button located on the front of the dispenser to feed paper through. (See Figure 8)
  4. Close dispenser cover.

OPERATION

NOTE: This Sofpull® dispenser will only function properly if the correct Sofpull® towel (S-17238) is placed in the dispenser.The dispenser runs on four D-cell alkaline batteries (included) and has a low battery indicator light.The dispenser also features adjustable settings for paper length (S, M, L) and time delay (S, M, L), which is the amount of time between dispenses. (See Figure 8)

The dispenser features two dispensing modes:a. On-demand mode: A new towel is presented when a hand is waved in front of the sensor. Slide the knob to the right. (See Figure 8)b. Hanging towel mode: A new towel is dispensed as soon as the current towel is removed from the dispenser. Slide the knob to the left. (See Figure 8)
