ULINE Trash Liners Instructions

INSTRUCTIONS

FOR SQUARE/RECTANGLE TRASH CANS:
  1. Determine Bag Width: Take the perimeter (sum of all the sides) of your trash can and divide by two. This will be the width of your trash bag. (See Figure 1)Example: If perimeter of can = 32″,width of trash bag = perimeter (32″) ÷ 2 = 16″.
  2. Determine Bag Length: Add the height of the container, plus 1/2 diameter, plus 4-5 inches for overhang.Example: If height of can = 18″, and if 1/2 diameter = 4″,height of trash bag = height (18″) + 1/2 diameter (4″) + 5″ = 27″.
FOR ROUND TRASH CANS:
  1. Determine Bag Width: Take the diameter (width of your trash can) and multiply by 3.14 (pi). Take this number and divide by two. This will be the width of your trash bag. (See Figure 2)Example: If diameter of can = 16″,width of trash bag = 16″ x 3.14 = 50″, 50″ ÷ 2 = 25″.
  2. Determine Bag Length: Add the height of the container, plus 1/2 diameter, plus 4-5 inches for overhang.Example: If height of can = 18″, and if 1/2 diameter = 8″,height of trash bag = height (18″) + 1/2 diameter (8″) + 5″ = 31″.
