SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before using the “touchless dispenser” (hereinafter referred to as ‘device’, the following basic precautions must always be taken:

General important information

  • Read the instructions for use carefully and keep them safe. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on this manual.
  • Only use this device in accordance with the instructions in this user manual.
  • The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
  • This device is intended for domestic or similar use, not for professional use.
  • The guarantee will expire immediately if damage has been caused by failing to comply with this user manual. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by non-compliance with the user manual, negligent use or use which does not comply with conditions in this user manual
  • WARNING! Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become dangerous playing material for children. Risk of suffocation!

General safety information and instructions

  • Only use the device for its intended use.
  • Improper use of the device could damage the product.
  • The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Keep children under strict supervision to prevent them from using the device as a toy.
  • Do not allow unsupervised children to clean or maintain this device.
  • Never allow children to use domestic appliances as toys or without supervision. Children are unable to judge the hazards associated with incorrectly using electric appliances.
  • Prior to use, check the device for visible external damage. Never operate the device if it is damaged.
  • Do not place the device under any mechanical stress.
  • Please handle the device carefully. Jolts, impacts or falls, even from a low height, can damage the device.
  • Do not use or store the device in an environment subject to strong static electricity or magnetic fields.
  • Do not use the device in the immediate vicinity of heat sources like naked flames (such as hobs).
  • Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, heat sources, excessive humidity or corrosive environments.
  • Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid, to avoid the risk of electric shocks. Do not touch the device if it has fallen into water, and do not use it again.
  • The device must be serviced if it has been damaged in any way, i.e.: objects have fallen into it; it has been exposed to rain or moisture; it has been dropped or does not operate properly.
  • The guarantee will expire immediately if the device is damaged as a result of not observing this user manual. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by non-compliance with the user manual, negligent use or use which does not comply with the conditions of this user manual.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the device.
  • Do not use foreign objects to clean the device.
  • Do not use the device if it has been dropped and does not operate normally.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device or modify it in any manner.
  • The device does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user.
  • Only allow repairs to be carried out by a qualified service center. Qualified service center: after-sales department of the manufacturer or store, which is recognized and authorized to carry out such repairs, so that potential hazards can be prevented. If problems are encountered with the device, please return it to this department.

• WARNING! Do not throw the device into a fire because it may explode!

Batteries, electricity & heat

  • Make sure the battery compartment is closed securely.
  • Only use AA Alkaline batteries.
  • Only use a set of 4 of the same brand of AA Alkaline batteries and do not mix different brands.
  • Do not mix Alkaline, standard batteries (carbon zinc) or rechargeable batteries (nickel hydride)
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Correctly insert (polarity) batteries into the battery compartment.
  • Replace the full set of 4 AA Alkaline batteries each time.
  • To prevent battery leakage, remove batteries from the appliance if it is not used for a long period of time.
  • Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. If the liquid gets on the skin, wash it immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, flush them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention.
  • Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
  • Non-rechargeable AA batteries should not be recharged.
  • Rechargeable AA batteries can be used in this device. Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the appliance before being charged.
  • Only charge rechargeable batteries with the charger that comes with these batteries and follow the instructions in the manufacturer’s manual.
  • Rechargeable batteries should only be recharged under adult supervision.
  • Do not short circuit the contacts inside the battery compartment or any batteries.
  • Never damage (rechargeable) batteries. Damaging the casing of the device and/or piercing batteries might lead to explosion or fire!
  • Flat AA Alkaline batteries must be removed and disposed of in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Do not crush, puncture or dismantle the device; this might damage the batteries.
  • Do not throw batteries into a fire because they may explode!
  • Do not expose the device and batteries to excessive heat sources like fire or direct sunlight.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in your household waste. To dispose of the batteries, take them to your local recycling station. Contact your local government offices for details.

Important information, follow these instructions

  • Keep children under strict supervision to prevent them from using the device as a toy.
  • Do not allow unsupervised children to clean or maintain this device.
  • Only use the device indoors, in dry areas and not in the vicinity of water, other liquids or humidity.
  • Do not place the product upside down, as the reservoir content will flow into the main body of the device!
  • Do not use the device if it has fallen into water or any other kind of liquid.
  • Never immerse the device in water or any other kind of liquid.
  • Do not use the device if it has become faulty, or if it has fallen or become damaged in any way. Send the device to the manufacturer or the closest qualified service center for inspection.

Cleaning:

  • Before cleaning the device, always switch it off.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the device.
  • Clean the exterior of the device with a damp cloth.
  • Clean the tank by removing the content and by running warm tap water.
  • Clean the spout of the device with clean water to prevent it from blocking up. Repeat this 15 to 20 times.

INSTALLING AND USING THE DEVICE

Open the packaging carefully before taking out the device. Make sure the device is complete and undamaged. If any components are missing or damaged, contact the vendor and do not use the product. Retain the packaging or recycle it in accordance with local regulations.

Power button

Inserting / replacing the batteries:

  • Gently loosen the main body (C) from the tank (D) by turning it counterclockwise.
  • Remove the main body (C) from the tank (D) by pulling it.
  • Turn the main body (C) upside down to access the battery compartment (E).
  • Remove the battery compartment cover (E) by pulling its clips.
  • Place and click 4 AA batteries into the battery compartment (E), respecting the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
  • Close the battery compartment by placing the battery cover (E) on the compartment and snapping the clips in place
  • Place the main body (C) back on the tank (D) by turning it clockwise.

Filling the tank

  • Gently loosen the main body (C) from the tank (D) by turning it counterclockwise.
  • Remove the tank (D) from the main body (C)
  • Fill the tank with liquid soap or disinfecting gel.
  • Do not overfill the tank (280 ml Max).
  • Place the main body (C) back on the tank (D) by turning it clockwise.

Note! Only use fresh new soap and clean the tank properly before each re-fill.Note! Do not fill the tank with exfoliant soaps.Note! The device is suitable for alcohol disinfectant with an alcohol content of ≤ 75% (gel sanitizers) or liquid soap. The device is not suitable for alcohol liquid (pure water liquid).

Powering the device ON/OFF

  • After the batteries have been placed, press the power button (1) once. The LED indicator flashes once.
  • There is no need to power off the device, as the sensor is in standby mode.
  • In case you want to switch off the device, press the power button (1) until the LED indicator flashes red.

Note! When the battery level is low, the LED indicator on the power button (1) lights up red when holding your hand under the motion sensor (B).

Setting the dispensing dose

  • Press the power button (1) once. The LED indicator flashes once Low: 1 – 1.5 ml.
  • Press the power button (1) again. The LED indicator flashes twice Medium: 2.5 – 3 ml.
  • Press the power button (1) again. The LED indicator flashes tree times High: 3.5 – 4 ml.
  • Place your hand under the device’s motion sensor (B) to dispense soap or gel from the spout (A)

Note! The distance from the motion sensor is 3 to 5 cmNote! You may have to do this a few times before the first amount of soap or gel is dispensed.
