TIC 300 PRO with VolTect’ Quick Start Guide
On/OffWhen the TIC 300 PRO is activated. the blue LED and audible alert will pulse at a slow rate. approximately twice per second.
LOW Range Setting
- Push the ON/OFF button to turn the unit ON. The unit will default to the high voltage setting when powered up.
- Push the LOW range button, and the unit is ready for low voltage detection.
- Place the probe tip near. but not touching. the low (<10001f) voltage source. See the bottom table for range details.
- If voltage is present. the blue LEDs and audible alerts will pulse at an increased rate.

Self-testThe TEST button should be used to ensure the tool is operational. The TEST function will cause the blue LEDs and audible alerts to pulse at a continuous rate on either LOW or HIGH range settings.
HIGH Range Setting(> 1500V and <122 kV) (Must use with TIC 410A Hot Stick Attachment)
- Push the ON/OFF button to turn the unit ON. The unit will default to the high voltage setting when powered up.
- Approach the probe tip near, but not touching, the high voltage conductor. See the bottom table for range details.
- If voltage is present, the blue LEDs and audible alerts will pulse at an increased rate.
