Product introduction

WK-168 is a professional, convenient and efficient infrared thermometer, applied for hospitals, homes, stations, hotels, schools, kindergartens and other places. This product is classified according to the management of medical devices; it belongs to the category Ⅱ in general investigation equipment (6820)  thermometer, and category Ⅱ in management.

Precaution

Keep the forehead dry and free of objects such as hair or sweat when taking body temperature measure, and measurement comes more accurately when the air is relatively still ;

After doing exercise, showering or washing your face, please take a rest for 15 minutes in a relatively static air environment before temperature measurement;

When the product is applied in similar indoor conditions with the patient, please place it at least twenty minutes before using. In order to obtain stable and reliable measurement data in temperature changes greatly indoor, put the product and the person being measured in the same environment for 30  minutes before using it. If the temperature is below 15°C, please wait for 2 hours;

Do not expose the product to sunlight directly or water.

Care and maintenance

• The sensing window part is precise , please pay attention to it;

Appearance and structure

Product features

1. Press the MODE button to switch the following 4 working modes;
   • a) Body temperature mode;
   • b) Surface temperature mode;
   • c) Room temperature mode;
   • d) Temperature record viewing mode and voice switch mode.
2. Measurement method
   • a) Press the operation button once for a single temperature measurement;
   • b) Keep 1-3CM distance from body temperature measurement area to the measured subject, press the operation button, and then check the data after  hearing a beep.

4. The remaining power reminders icon . When displayed , it indicates that product is about to run out of power, and needs to be replaced with new battery;
5. To press the MEM button of showing / hiding the icon   to switch on storage function. It can store 99 sets of temperature records. To press the MODE button to switch to temperature record viewing mode, the storage icon will flash, and then press the previous and next button to view the temperature record previously;
6. Delete all temperature records: press and hold the MEM button for 3 seconds when the device is turned on, the Beep sound will be emitted by the buzzer, and the CLr will be displayed on the screen to confirm that all temperature records have been deleted
7. In the mode of temperature record viewing, when the storage icon is  flashing, press the MEM button to switch on / off the voice symbol.

User setting

1. Press and hold the MODE button for 8 seconds in ON state. After hearing Beep sound twice, prompts to enter the user setting mode. The screen display is as shown in
2. F0 option (temperature alarm function) can be changed according to the user’s requirements, please follow the steps below;
   • a). The user can press to adjust the temperature alarm value, the previous button is to increase, and the next button is to decrease.
3. Press the MODE button again to switch to the F1 option. It is the surface temperature alarm value. The user can also adjust the setting value by pressing .
4. Press the MODE button again to return to the measurement mode. Infrared thermometer can be used normally.
5. Reminders;Users might receive slight different but relatively stalbe outcomes because of different measured body parts, time, or gender. It is normal. Especially children whom temperature changes are more frequently, it is recommended to measure a few more times and refer the highest value. If it is found that the baby’s temperature is abnormal, do some medical protection.
