Filter Installation:
- Use standard fittings while installing the filter in piping network.
- Ensure correct inlet/outlet direction.
- The direction of water flow can also be seen from arrow on the filter’s inlet/outlet arms where “screen” is mentioned above the arrow. That is the direction of flow of water. You can also understand the connections by looking at the picture below. · Never open the filter when it is under pressure.
Cleaning:
- Turn off the water supply.
- Before opening the filter, drain all water insider the strainer by opening the “drain valve cap”
- Now to open the filter, Remove the bottom housing cover (Cup-shaped bottom lid) by rotating it anticlockwise. Then remove the filter Cartridge slowly.
- Use a brush, some soap, and clean water to clean the cartridge and remove all dirt.
- After cleaning Reassemble the cartridge inside the filter body.
- Usually, it needs to be cleaned only once a month depending on the water quality it might vary
Assembly:
- Ensure the rubber ring is properly fit to the cartridge.
- Ensure the cartridge is properly aligned with top and bottom of filter so that no unfiltered water flows through the outlet.
- Turn on the water supply
- The pressure gauge connections are used to measure pressure.
