Socket installation

Break the lock and unfold the u-shaped

Fix the u-shaped bracket on the bracket (as shown in the picture)
 Rotate the fastening knob to install the supplementary light on the lamp holder. Then tighten the knob as shown.

Connect the control line to the upper right hole of the controller, as shown in the figure above. As shown, the other end is connected to the headlight

Note: The lamp holder should be placed on a stable floor to prevent children from touching and upsetting the lamp during use damage.No part of the lamp body is allowed to be soaked in rain. The machine is not waterproof. The machine cannot be used as an “explosion-proof lamp”.This machine can not be used in medical research and other special occasions such as hangman. It shall not bear any loss caused by improper use

Bluetooth remote control mode

The machine uses the Bluetooth broadcast protocol. Before using the Bluetooth remote control function, follow the steps below to set up channels and groups.

  1. Long press the “SET” key for 2 seconds to enter the mode setting, and short press the “SET” key to set to “Bluetooth” mode.
  2. Press the “select” key to set the channel and groups, then turn the “+/-” dial to set the channel/group. Long press the “SET” key to save the current setting. It will also be automatically saved after 10 seconds without operation. (The channel and group are defined by the user, but they cannot conflict with other people’s channels)

Note: Except dimming in Bluetooth mode, you can directly adjust the power or color temperature on the controller with the “+/-” dial and the “select” key.

Connection method

 

Tips:

  1. This machine adopts the Bluetooth broadcast communication method, no pairing and networking are required. And there can be no limit on the number of lights controlled at the same time. When using, you only need to adjust the channel and group to be the same, and you can control the lights within the remote control range.
  2. 1t is not possible to dim more than two mobile phones set to the same channel at the same time, which will cause out-of-control light and flicker light.

DMX setting method

This machine uses the DM512 protocol. You need a console with the same protocol to control it. This machine will occupy two channels to control the power and color temperature of the light respectively. The setting method is as follows:

  1. 1. Long press “set” key for 2 seconds to enter mode setting, short press “set” key to set to “DMX mode”

2. Press the “select” key to set the channel and group, and then rotate the “+ /11 dial to set the channel/group number. After setting, press “set” key to save the current setting.(10 seconds without operation will also be saved automatically)

Connect the DMX cable according to the “connection method”, and the connection symbol appears in the upper left corner of the control screen.

Note: In addition to the dimming of the DMX controller, the power of color temperature can be directly adjusted at the “+ /-” dial of the controller with the “select” key.

Remote controller operation

  1. Long press “on/off’ 2s, turn on RC-11, light display.
  2. Refer to the LED light and set it to the same “channel” and “group”.(if the “channel” or “group” is different, can not control the LED light). Set channel — long-press CH/GRP for 2s, choose A/B/C/D/E/F. The set group — short press CH/GRP, choose A/B/C/D/E/F.
  3. Long press” MODE” switch between CCT/HSURGBW/SCENE 4 modes. HSURGBW/SCENE is colorful RGB mode, some models may support these 3 modes, please set in CCT mode.
  4. Press” +/- ” to adjust power/color temperature. Press “MODE” to set power/color temperature.
  5. RC-11 will shut down automatically without operation after 30 minutes.

Precautions:

Please remove the battery when the remote controller is not used for a long time to avoid leaking.

Skills:

When we shoot with multiple lights, don’t change the channel settings randomly. Different lights are set to different groups, such as Alight with A group, Blight with B group. Special reminder, please don’t set different lights to different “channels”, it is very troublesome to frequently switch between different channels to adjust the lights. This may also occupy other people’s channels and easily cause mutual interference problems. This is the wrong use method.

  1. Search “Weeylite” in the “APP Store” of the Apple system, you can find the dimming APP (APP interface as following) and install to a mobile phone.
  1.  Turn on Bluetooth and OPEN ” Weeylite” App, set the same channel as LED light.
  2. Set the Same group as LED.
  3. Set mode in need. Such as control ninja 400 LED in color temperature mode.

Note: 1. For the moment, the Android system does not support “Scan QR codes to download via WeChat”. For devices with an Android system, a browser/QQ should be used to scan QR codes and download the “Weeylite” APR.

Note: It supports downloading from mobile phones with version 8.0 on iPhone, and version 8.3 or above on Android mobile phones.

Remark: This LED only support color temperature mode in App (color and scene mode is not available)

Common problems and notes

  1. Do not use the fill light directly on other people’s eyes at close range, otherwise it may damage their eyes.
  2. After long time use, the temperature may exceed 60 degrees, pay attention to burns.
  3. It is forbidden to cover towels, tapes and other objects on the lamp body, otherwise the high temperature of the lamp body may cause damage to the lamp body and cause fire.
  4. Do not subject the lamp body to strong vibrations, otherwise it may cause malfunctions and cause component damage.
  5. If the remote control will not be used for a long time, please remove the battery from the remote control.
  6. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the fill light by yourself, otherwise it may cause electric shock or malfunction.
  7. Make sure the lamps are stable during installation, avoid heavy lamps from falling, and avoid children and the elderly to touch this lamp.
  8. If smoke or burning odor is found, immediately stop operation and unplug the power supply to prevent supplemental fire or burning.
  9. The fill light must not be immersed in water or exposed to rain or water vapor. If water into the lamp, it may cause the fill lamp to catch fire or electric shock. In this case, the power should be cut off immediately.
  10. Prohibit to use the fill light in places with flammable gas (including propane, gasoline and dust), it may cause explosion or fire.

Troubleshooting method

  1. The display does not turn on and the light does not turn on1 Make sure the power adapter is connected to the power supply.2 Whether the power button is pressed for more than 2 seconds.
  2. The mobile APP “WEEYLITE” is not dimmable — Please set the unit to “Bluetooth mode”, make sure that the channel number and group number of the unit are set to the same, otherwise the dimming cannot be performed.
  3. The “RC-11” of the hand-held remote control is not dimmable — Please set the unit to “Bluetooth mode”, and ensure that the RC-11 channel number and group number are the same as the units.
  4.  Lamp flicker – can not be set to the same channel at the same time more than 2 mobile phone dimming, this will cause the lights out of control, lamp flicker.
  5. DMX not dimmable——– Please set this unit in “DMX” mode, and use the standard protocol “DMX512 console”. Please set the “DMX channel number” of this unit to be the same as the console. If the DMX cable is not properly connected, it will also cause not be dimmable. If it still not work normally after troubleshooting the above problem, you need to focus on checking the DMX cable. If possible, you can use a “resistance meter” to measure the resistance of the cable.

You can also try to connect the two cables of D + or D- in reverse. This will eliminate the situation where your DMX controller is opposite to the unit data. The following is a schematic diagram of the DMX cable reverse connection. Only when the DMX controller output cable phase is opposite. The normal phase cannot use this connection.
