  13. This device should not be operated with an external clock timer or separate remote control system.
  14. Place the device on a flat, sturdy and heat-resistant surface.
  15. Put the device in a place which is out of reach of children.
  16. Do not operate this device near flammable materials (e.g. curtains, textiles, walls) and never cover it. Ensure that there is always a sufficient safe distance from flammable materials.
  17. Use this device in dry indoor areas only and never outdoors.
  18. WARNING – Do not use this device near water or heavy moisture; e.g. in a damp basement or beside a swimming pool or bathtub.
  19. In order to reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, do not expose the device to fire (fireplace, grill, candles, cigarettes and so on) or water (water drops, water splashes, vases, tubs, ponds and so on).
  20. Keep this device away from all heat sources like for example, ovens, hot plates and other heat-producing devices/objects.
  21. Protect this device from extreme heat (over 35°C / 95°F) and cold (under 5°C / 41°F) as well as from direct sunlight and dust.
  22. Insert the power plug only into an grounded 120V~ 60Hz socket.
  23. WARNING – To avoid the possibility of fire disaster, the fan shall not be covered.
  24. Make sure the unit stands upright.
  25. The unit should have a distance of 30 cm / 1 feet from other objects, otherwise they can strongly influence its operation.
  26. Make sure there are no objects nearby the fan which can prevent the oscillation.
  27. WARNING – Never insert fingers, pencils or other objects into the unit if it is plugged in, and especially not during operation. Warn your children against these dangers.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
  1. The mains voltage must match the information on the rating label of the device.
  2. The power plug is used as the disconnect device. Please be sure that the power plug is in operable condition.
  3. Only removing the power plug can separate the device completely from the mains supply.
  4. Avoid damages to the power cord that may be caused by kinks or contact with sharp corners.
  5. Make sure the device, including power cord and power plug are not exposed to hot surfaces.
  6. Only unplug from the power outlet by the plug itself. Do not pull on the cord.
  7. Disconnect the power plug when the device is not in use, in case of malfunctions, prior to attaching accessories and prior to each cleaning.
  8. If the power cord or the casing of the device is damaged or if the device is dropped, the device may not be used before it is examined by a professional electrician.
  9. A damaged power cord may only be replaced by the manufacturer or a workshop commissioned by the manufacturer or by a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
  10. WARNING – To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not use this product with any solid state speed control device. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock and injury to persons, do not use near a window.
  11. This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user service instructions (follow marking for power fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
  12. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances.
  13. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.

POLARIZED PLUG

If this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MODIFY THIS PLUG OR DEFEAT THIS SAFETY FEATURE IN ANY WAY.

BATTERY

WARNING – CHEMICAL BURN AND CHOKING HAZARD. KEEP BATTERIES AWAY FROM CHILDREN

This product contains a lithium button/coin cell battery “CR2032” in the remote control unit. If a new or used lithium button/coin cell battery is swallowed or enters the body. It can cause severe internal burns and can lead to death in as little as 2 hours. Always completely secure the battery compartment. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the remote control unit. Remove the batteries, and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

CAUTION

  • Do not install backwards or short circuit the batteries.
  • Do not attempt to dismantle or charge the batteries. Keep away from fire
  • Follow battery manufacturers instructions when installing new batteries.
  • The cells shall be disposed of properly, including keeping them away from children; even used cells may cause injury.

USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS

Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.

A. Open fuse cover by sliding access cover on top of attachment plug towards plug blades.

B. Remove fuse carefully by gently pulling out the ends of the fuse from the receptacle. Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 2.5 or 5 amp, 125 Volt fuse.

C. Install replacement fuse by first placing the end of the fuse into the fuse receptacle which is opposite of the blades of the plug, then carefully push in the other end. Only push against the metal end of the fuse, the glass center portion.

D. Close fuse cover by sliding the cover back into the plug until it is completely closed and latches.

RISK OF FIRE. Do not replace attachment plug. It contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if the attachment plug is damaged.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
  1. Carefully take the device and its accessories out of the packaging. Retain the packaging in case you would like to store the device away or transport it at a later date. If you choose to dispose of the packaging, then please do so according to the applicable legal regulations.
  2. Check the packaging contents for completeness and damages. Should the contents in the packaging not be complete or be damaged, do not use the device. Return it to your retail outlet immediately.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the appliance’s rated specification. Be sure to plug into AC 120V~, 50-60Hz outlet.
  2. Plug in, you can hear “Bi, Bi” then press [ ] button, product starts at low-speed.
  3. SPEED: Product has 3 speeds: Low – Mid – High. Select desired speed by pressing the speed control for [ ], [ ], [ ], the indicator will light up to indicate the selected speed.
  4. WIND MODE: Product has 3 wind modes: Natural – Normal – Sleeping. Press [ ] to select the desired mode. The corresponding indicator light will turn on to indicate the selected mode.
  5. TIMER: Press [ ] once to add one hour (Min 1 hour, max 7 hours): 1H-2H-3H………7H-0H-1H. At the same time, the indicator light will on to indicate the selected time.
  6. OSC: Press the [ ] one time, the product will oscillate left and right, and press [ ] again, the fan will stop oscillation. Meanwhile, you can adjust the up and down degree manually.
  7. Press [ ] button to switch off the fan. If you don’t use it for a long time, unplug the fan from the mains outlet.

Replace the remote control battery

When the remote control buttons do not respond properly, the battery may have run out. Replace with a new 3V Lithium battery (Model: CR2032).

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

CLEANING AND STORAGE

WARNING – Do not immerse the fan in water and never allow water to enter the Motor Housing.

  1. Be sure your fan is OFF.
  2. Unplug the fan before cleaning.
  3. Take the three screws out which are on the back cover, then twist the front cover to the left and take it off.
  4. Twist the fan blade screw to the right and take the fan blade out, then you ca n clean the fan blade. Use only a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the fan.
  5. Before reinstalling the fan, ensure that all the parts are dry
  6. The product must be packed in its original box for storage. Place the fan in a storage room with low humidity.
