Range Extender for Ring Alarm 5B28S6 Instruction Manual
First, complete the in-app setup.
- Make sure your Ring Alarm is disarmed.
- In the Ring app, tap Set Up a Device and find the Range Extender in the Security menu.
- Follow the in-app instructions to complete setup.
Then, install the device in your home.
- Choose an outlet between your Base Station and some of the devices farthest from your Base Station.
- Leave the Range Extender plugged into an outlet at all times. You can move the Range Extender to another socket as needed to expand the range of your Z-Wave network.

To avoid risk of electric shock, do not touch your device during a lightning storm. When this device is plugged into an electrical socket-outlet, unplugging this device will disconnect it from the AC mains supply. Only plug this device into an easily accessible socket-outlet.
BATTERY SAFETY
HANDLE WITH CARE. Your device contains a rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery and should be replaced only by a qualified service provider. Do not disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred or attempt to access the battery in your device. Do not modify or remanufacture the battery, attempt to insert foreign objects into the battery, or immerse or expose it to water or other liquids, expose to fire, explosion or other hazard. Only use the battery for the system for which it is specified. Use of an unqualified battery or charger may present a risk of fire, explosion, leakage or other hazard. Do not short-circuit a battery or allow metallic conductive objects to come into contact with battery terminals. Avoid dropping the device or battery. If the device or battery is dropped, especially on a hard surface, and the user suspects damage, do not attempt repair. Contact Ring Customer Service for assistance.
