STEP 1:Connect to TV

 Connect yourstreaming player toan HDMI port on theback of your TV usingthe Premium HighSpeed HDMI® Cable(included).

 

 

To stream 4K or HDR,choose an HDMI portthat supports HDCP2.2. Use the PremiumHigh Speed HDMI®Cable (included).For help determining which port supports HDCP 2.2, visit go.roku.com/hdcp

STEP 2:Connect topower

For the best streamingexperience, use theincluded USB powercable and poweradaptor to connectyour streaming playerto a wall outlet.Or use the includedUSB power cable toconnect to the USBport on your TV.

STEP 3:Position Roku®streaming player

Place the streamingplayer near your TV.The streaming playercan be attached toyour TV with theincluded double-sidedadhesive strip. Thestrip is for single-useand can be removed.

DO make sure that thefront of your streamingplayer has direct line ofsight with your remotecontrol.

DO NOT place your streaming player behind the TV.DO NOT place inside a TV cabinet. Doing so may    cause overheating.

STEP 4:Power on TV andselect input

Use your TV remote to power on your TV and select the input you used to connect your streaming player. For help on how to select the correct input, visit;                                                                                                      go.roku.com/selectinput

 

STEP 5:Insert batteries

On the back side of theremote, slide open thebattery cover. Insertincluded Duracell®batteries placing thenegative (-) ends infirst.

 

STEP 6:On-screen setupand activation

Follow the instructionson your TV screen.

 

 

 

Activate yourstreaming player byusing your computeror smartphone to linkto a Roku account.

 

NOTE: Roku does not charge for activation support – beware of scams.

Why do I need to create a Roku account?Before you can start streaming, channels must be downloaded andinstalled on your streaming player. You’ll need a Roku account toaccess the Roku Channel Store, manage your subscriptions, viewyour purchase history, and add a payment method. If these other devices can access theinternet, then your streaming player should be able to do the same.Make sure to select the same network name, and enter the samepassword you use with the other devices. Remember that passwordsare case-sensitive and easy to enter incorrectly. For more help, visitgo.roku.com/wirelessCan I take my Roku streaming player with me when I travel?Yes. You can bring your streaming player and watch your favoriteentertainment when you travel. Remember to also bring the USBpower adaptor (like your phone charger), remote, and any cablesyou use to connect your streaming player at home. Make sureyour destination has a good internet connection. You may need acomputer or smartphone to help connect your streaming playerto a new wireless network. Adhesive strip instructions

You have the option of attaching your streaming player to your TV using the included double-sided adhesive strip. This strip is removable and will not leave a sticky residue. However, it can only be used one time! Keep in mind that your streaming player requires a direct line of sight with your remote control. To order more strips, go to roku.com/accessories
